Hi, I'm Sudip.
Let me put all my cards on the table.
For the most part, I’ve lived a regular life as a finance and accounting professional in the corporate world. I have led large teams across MNCs and leading corporates, finally hanging up my boots as Group CFO.
Because, when I turned fifty, something changed. I wanted to move away from the stresses of corporate life to finally enjoy the fruits of my labour.
More importantly, I realised I could — the time I had spent financially mapping my life finally allowed me the freedom to step away.

And now I’m hoping to help you chart your own path to financial well-being — whatever that may mean to you.

After all, as I often remind my twin daughters,

"if you don't have the time to plan your life, who in this world will?"

Starting Ground Zero.
“When you are 20 to 30 years old, find a good boss and a good company to learn the right way to do things.
When you are 30 to 40 years old, do what you’ve always wanted to do because you can still afford to fail.
When you’re 40 to 50 years old, do the things you now know you are good at doing.
And when you are 50, spend time training and developing the younger generations, teaching them what you know best.”

Listening to Jack Ma’s advice struck a chord with me, fuelling an idea that I had been brewing on for a while. All my life, I have been a planner — in my capacity as a professional leader, as a cricket team captain, as a financial investor, and even as the head of my family.
In fact, at regular intervals of my life, I have visualised exactly what my next five or ten years should look like. And more often than not, reality has followed my plan.
But the more I spoke to my peers, friends, and family, the more I realised that this wasn’t a common practice — they were simply ‘going with the flow’ either because they hadn’t considered any other way, or because it scared them to. That’s when I realised what I knew to do, uncommonly well, was planning. And that’s the skill I wanted to share.
I want to help you make your dreams a reality. And that takes more than financial planning; Ground Zero is about giving you a game plan for life.
So, what do we do at Ground Zero?
At Ground Zero, our mission is to provide accessible and personalized financial coaching to help you effectively plan your finances to orchestrate your dream life. We believe that everyone should have the knowledge and tools to secure their financial future, and we are passionate about empowering our clients to take control of their finances. Our approach is centered around offering a tailored plan that aligns with your life goals and aspirations. And we will work with you every step of the way to ensure that you're on track to achieve your dreams.
As cliched as it sounds, the objective behind this venture is not to create a business empire. At no point will we take control of your finances, your money, or your decisions. Our aim is simply to help you transform your dreams into realistic, achievable goals through a structured discipline and our custom-built tools. And of course, just like in any sport, a coach can come up with the game plan, but its success hinges on whether the players practice and execute it.
The journey to attain our goals, whether it be financial, professional, personal, or philosophical is what drives us through life. Wherever you are today is your “Ground Zero”. On that, we will build a foundation powerful enough to withstand your vision for the future.
